Armageddon’s Children, by Terry Brooks [Adult Science Fiction]

by Monica, 12th grader

Terry Brooks is known for his Word and the Void and Shannara science fiction books. Armageddon’s Children brings together parts of both series to tell the story of the end of our modern world. It’s a great book that, like its predecessors, is rich in adventure and magic. But it’s also a bold book — one that imagines the worst possible fate, the worst possible consequences for our world today. In so doing, it serves as a warning and a call to action. A wonderful book!
