Forever in Blue, by Ann Brashares [YA Fiction]
by Melanie, 12th grader
After much anticipation of this book’s publishing, I am disappointed. Brashares’ style is the same as the previous three books but is lacking the exciting plot for the girls’ summers. The ending is a bit expected and disappointing but closure enough that no one can write the Fifth Summer of the Sisterhood. The girls’ summers go by pretty fast with nothing very important or riveting happening. Ann stays true to the relationships between the girls but some girls seem to have complete personality changes after their freshman year in college.

I actually believe this book was set up for a fifth one, just it’d be without the pants.
I really thought it was good, better than the third summer.
I am hoping for a fifth book, but not expecting one.

I think Ann should write a fifth book to the series. Although the first book was the most exiting in my opinion, I love reading about all the adventures the girls have together.
