Rainbow Boys is about the trials of three high schoolers struggling with being gay in an extremely conservative town. Nelson loves Kyle, Kyle loves Jason, and Jason is completely lost. It’s a very sweet and well-written book, but not for anyone in middle school or someone who is homophobic.
