The Year of Ice, by Brian Malloy [Adult Fiction]

The main character of this book is just your typical Senior at High School, except his mom died two years ago, and his dad never talks and is dating again… his crazy religious aunt is trying to take him away and his dad’s affair may have led to his mother’s accident/alleged suicide. To add to that giant mental burden, he’s trying to find a boyfriend, or at least someone to talk to. A good book, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone younger than high school.
