my sixth grade class with Mrs. Nalloway (sp?) last year read this together, and no one expected much at first glance. It turned out to be an awesome book filled with suspense and laughter, and we all loved it! A great read for all ages...above ten! An awesome book, for sure!

I thought that Twilight was okay, but I kind of hated this book. Bella got on my nerves so much that I almost stopped reading halfway through. The rest of the characters were almost as obnoxious. I think that the only reason I finished was because I got this book for my birthday and I would have felt bad if I didn't read it. I still have Eclipse to read, and I really, really hope that it's not as annoying as this one.

I love this book because I love the character of Stargirl. She really gets you to think, and I think that the reactions of the other students are very realistic. People don't always accept people who are different from them. This is a great book.

I disagree with you. I thought it was a pretty good book, and I don't think it copies off Star Wars and Lord of the Rings as much as you say it does. Sure, some little details are similar, but the plot as a whole isn't the same thing. I thought it was a good book. I only wish that it would've been edited a bit more. Parts of it got a little tedious, but since it was self-published, I think that we do need to cut it some slack. Paolini didn't mean for it to even get this big, and he certainly didn't say, "Hey, I'm going to write a rip-off of every fantasy book and movie made, and I'm going to make tons of money!" No.

I'm one of those obsessed Harry Potter fans, and this book didn't disappoint me in the slightest. Order of the Phoenix (Book Five) is still my favorite one, but DH is probably second, and it was a great end to the series.
